A photo of her Instagram displaying a beer bottle with that motto shocks the networks days after the farmers of the Ribera d’Ebre asked for her resignation

The regional Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Food of Catalan government, Teresa Jordà, has been at the center of political criticism after a photograph taken from her Instagram account has been disseminated, displaying a bottle of Empordà Hooligans craft beer that has as slogan Fuck Spain.

In the photograph, taken on August 6, she is seen laughing and pointing a finger at the label on the bottle she holds with her right hand so that the motto can be seen.

The image was disseminated the day after representatives of the Ribera de Ebro countries asked for her resignation because the Department did not receive them when they went to the Ministry to ask for direct help to deal with the damage suffered by the fire that It affected the region in June.

Jordà has not given explanations of the reason for her absence.

In her twitter account she shows her “capital indignation for the price of the grapes that are being offered by the large companies in the cava sector” and her support for the claims of the affected farmers.

On the other hand, she makes no reference to the claims of those of the Ribera d’Ebre.

That twitter account is full of reproductions of her photography with the bottle of Empordà Hooligans accompanied by harsh criticism for displaying the expression Fuck Spain that stands out on the label.

“Can you imagine the Spanish Minister of Agriculture with a beer motto as Fuck Catalunya?”  Reads  one of these comments. Another remembers that Teresa Jordà is a member of ERC, “this party that now they say is the most moderate of all”.
