The good people of CDR
The Catalan Parliament, thanks to the independence majority, has demanded the file of the case opened by the National Court against the seven CDR investigated for alleged belonging to a terrorist organization and possession of explosives. It also demands their “immediate release.”
That is to say, the Catalan Parliament announces that the legislative power can already demand the judicial one.
Is that possible? No, obviously. Rather, the Parliament returns to confuse everything. For starters, the very essence of democracy.
The pro-independence parties know that their demand will not have any route, but it is not free. They have turned politics into a magic game, it is more important to gesture than to do. The bad thing is that the gesture is loaded with ammunition.
The message conveyed is clear: CDRs are good (whatever they do) and Spanish justice is bad. From here, let each one work accordingly. How far are the days of the Government of Artur Mas in which a prison was requested for those who surrounded the Parliament! Although, well thought out, it is logical. Those of 15-M should not be ‘bona gent’ (good people).
