Every day that passes I feel more disoriented. I don’t know if it will be the age, or these new times, or the new society. I am not going against progress or against new times, it is inevitable, but 40 years ago life was much better and people were more people, at least for me and for many people like me.
Of course, each one is free to think as they want. In the past we also had different thoughts and talked freely about our ideas, but with respect and without trampling the rights of others. Now they want to impose ideas on you by force, I see the so-called politicians urging people to go out into the streets, attacking those who do not share ideas or thoughts. And relying on lies and falsehood to play with people’s feelings, confronting society, damaging an entire people that was the envy and admiration of Spain and half the world: Catalonia.
And these so-called politicians have turned it into a dirty region, with nothing to offer, and what is sadder, fertile ground for crime at all levels. But it is not only Catalan politicians, Spanish politicians have also contributed to this; all of them, unable to do their job (but earning very good money), have shattered all the work and effort of our parents and grandparents, and of ourselves, to make this land great and strong, the land I love so much, Catalonia, to which a few fanatics and intolerant, almost ‘Taliban’, have split in half, confronting its people (who until recently were an example of coexistence at all levels language , work … simple coexistence) in the streets, at work, everywhere, even within families.
