Carrizosa has said that "it is not typical of a democracy" that "a language is not respected" , and has regretted that public education in Catalonia is monolingual, and not bilingual or even trilingual , so that students receive the best possible training. The leader of Citizens ( Cs ) in the Parliament, Carlos Carrizosa , has criticized that the regional Minister of Education, Josep-González Cambray , is "putting between a rock and a hard place " officials so that they do not comply with the sentence that establishes that the at least 25% of the classes must be taught in Spanish in schools in Catalonia. Carrizosa, who will question the regional Minister about it in this plenary session of the Parliament, has criticized that he asks "not to comply" with a sentence that is firm  and, therefore, mandatory.

The leader of Citizens ( Cs ) in the Parliament, Carlos Carrizosa , has criticized that the regional Minister of Education, Josep-González Cambray , is “putting between a rock and a hard place ” officials so that they do not comply with the sentence that establishes that the at least 25% of the classes must be taught in Spanish in schools in Catalonia.

Carrizosa, who will question the regional Minister about it in this plenary session of the Parliament, has criticized that he asks “not to comply” with a sentence that is firm  and, therefore, mandatory .

Resignation under suspicion

In line with this, the leader of the constitutional formation has recalled the resignation of the general director of Curriculum and Personalization of the regional Ministry of Education, Maite Aymerich . A decision that Cs relates to the person who would have to apply that 25% of Spanish that ends with the mandatory monolingual immersion in Catalan .

Carrizosa has said that “it is not typical of a democracy” that “a language is not respected” , and has regretted that public education in Catalonia is monolingual, and not bilingual or even trilingual , so that students receive the best possible training.

The leader of Cs, likewise, has criticized the speech of the PSC in this matter of being misleading , and accuses him of saying that he “admits the need to reform the model, but in Parliament, vote the opposite of what they say and align with the parties that want to exclude Spanish “.
