Meeting of the Consell per la República, on Saturday, July 4, in Perpinyà. / CONSELL PER LA REPÚBLICA
The Consell per la República, one of the entities promoted by Carles Puigdemont, this Saturday called on citizens to “prepare” to “complete the process begun on October 1”.
In a meeting in Perpinyà in which the ‘former president’, as well as ex-regional ministers Toni Comín and Clara Ponsatí, have participated, the members of the governing council of that platform have met and approved of supporting this “confrontation” with the State. Its vice president, Comín, has made it clear that this confrontation will be “peaceful”, but he considered “very important to clarify the contents and conditions of that confrontation,” reports ACN.
“We have to prepare from all the lessons we have learned since 1-O,” he said.
Mobile app
The vice president of the Consell per la República has revealed that the creation of an application to vote digitally has also been approved.
This app is intended for the 90,000 associates of the Consell per la República with the aim of having a “digital citizen identity” and this allows them to participate in consultations on internal issues.
During the press conference, Comín has not spoken at any time about the fragmentation suffered by the post-convergent space, with the emergence of a new formation, the Catalan Nationalist Party (PNC), and the announcement by Puigdemont of the creation of another force that would be unrelated to the PDECat.
