Former Catalan President Carles Puigdemont participated in a debate at the University of Copenhagen on Monday about the situation in Catalonia.
Puigdemont, who has been in Brussels since November and traveled to the Danish capital on Monday, has had an exchange of views on the process with Professor Marlene Wind, who asked her: “Would you like to see 200 or 300 nations with only one identity? Do you think that is the solution in the 21st century? ” And he added: “Catalonia is the richest region in Spain and Spain is a more decentralized country, even than Germany, where does this separatist desire come from?”
